I wonder if this whole thing about abandoning Michigan and all the other Republicans already giving Obama the victory with the "unless" is all a political strategy designed to rise up the sleeping Republicans and instill in them a sense of frantic urgency to show up election day while at the SAME time is supposed to alleviate Democratic concerns and help them go to sleep, thereby viewing their vote as not necessary come election day.

Vo, WRONG. Republicans are never 'sleeping giants'! NEVER. Actually, u have raised a good point about Roves manuever. Republicans are morally driven hypocrits who vote no matter what, they see it as their civil right. Or moral obligation to jesus heavens gate? But what will make more sense is-- Rove plans to give ameteur democrats like myself-- a sense of security and not go to vote with the thought that --we will win - anyway. NOW that will be monumentally disastrous for obama if his groupies- let the sleeping dog lie. Rove is too smart to realize that republicans are not popular--that 'the people' are more angry than stupid, that he once fooled them, he wont fool them again.(he touched on the conservative part by making the election about their values, anti homo, religion, etc etc) By saying Obama will definitely win, many lazy, cosmopolitan democrats like myself ,would rather go watch a movie than actually bother to vote.
