How come people from Burco say 'Kimiis'
While reer Hargeisa call it 'Sabaayad'.

Kimiis.?? i always thought that was a xamari word didnt know reer burco say it aswell

My friend was taking the piss out of me because I say 'Kimiis' instead of Sabayaad.
I asked a few reer burco people and they all call it 'Kimiis' aswell..

Btw it cant be a xamari word because I asked someone from down south and they also say 'sabayaad'..

Your right we say KIMIS, and there is people who say Sabaayad.... Reer Konfureed dont say neither of those i had one experience from reer Xamar Maqaaxi ones, when i ordered Kimis iyo Suqaar, the man got confused and had to ask some other guy what that meant, but then he realised i meant (Jabaati)

...well reer xam xams use sabaayad just like hargaysa and like you said its the close proximity
