Help me like Somali music.

So I don't find Somali music interesting at all. A good majority have the same electric keyboard and guitar and that annoying soft, stretched out vocals. Post some of your favorite Somali music and please actually have an ear when you do so

Durdur Band

I grew up with this band. Singers like Tubeec, Sahra Ahmed etc. I like oldie tunes, not these new modern songs that new singers copy and destroy.

Somali music is for you only if you are lyrical because the beats not all that. Whether wadani or jaceel each verse carries a heavy message. I was like you i didnt even understand what they were saying 2 years ago hadana

Somali music is an aquired taste. For me personally I like the deep meaning Lyrics of the songs. Oh I love Kaban.

This one made me laugh first time I heard it, didn't think Somali songs could talk about this

This one has good lyrics and is structered so that he's not constantly repeating every line, if you like an Amina you should like the song even more :
