So in our musallah we have a curtain that seperates the genders for prayer

someone early this morning went and took out the curtain and left a note that said

"It's not that serious"

the more wadaad bros are freaking out as if there salat are not valid cause there's no curtain and saying they'd rather pray in stairwells

my lil bro told me about it earler, i couldn't believe it

But honestly, I think the segragation for salah is touchy topic for most MSAs. You have people from all over the ideological & political spectra debating about what is and is not preferable/allowable. Interesting times.

Segregation in salah should be a very common thing except with maybe some (minority)fringe sects, so how can they make a fuss in MSAs?

I don't, I don't go to York. But I have heard of chaos with their MSA before that's why I took the guess.

Electoral candidacies have at times come under the microscope of administration. People even whisper about corruption and whatnot. Simply electing a president isn't always the case. Sometimes, you actually have to campaign, and not everyone is up for that. Those who should be leading shy away from it and those who shouldn't campaign the hardest. Lecturers ranged from someone saying "Allah is within us all" to "Jihad is the 6th pillar of Islam". Now, I'm not debating either, but it really did make for 'fun' times.
