They are not for sale. They have something called foreign excess defense sales meaning American allies can basically go to any military base and take any equipment thats not being used. Most Nato countries, Pakistan and Singapore have this arrangement I believe

i know what its for, but carpet bombing entire cities and hitting strategic targets is two different things. It sounds like you just want to level entire cities. If that's not your aim, then you won't solve much

Who said anything about capert bombing?

Do I look like a faqash? Bombing entire cities is wasteful and reactionary. I would only bomb 1 or 2 strategic sites. The rest I would leave for my artillary.

yea thing is this is mostly guerilla warfare, planes aren't the best weapon for that kind of battle.

Buy them early, buy them often, who ever rules the sky, rules the land.

But that being said, those kind of jets are useless in Somalia, there aren't many military installations or infrastructure to attack. Somalia waxaa ku fiicanee, an Apache Helicopter, that would be perfect and it would wreak havoc on enemies lightly armored vehicles.
