professor geedi to move to baladweyne(prez of new fed state)

Post by sahal80 »

I'm convinced now about the next federal state

Geedi will be the president

Some hawadle the vice president

Baladweyne the capital(this means its independent from xamar and represents a regional policy of its own)

According to some sources, hawadle themselves are backing geedi in this and may get more economical advantages than the abgaal

Geedi was a traditional ally of hiiraan in the 90s

Hawadles did their best to avoid the central state with the understanding of hassan sheekh.

Hawadles live in jowhar(waabari) and many towns and villages like adan yabaale, buurane, fiidow, qalimow, jameeca bashir,)

Gaaljecel is the biggest in jowhar after abgaal

Baadicade in buurweyn

According to some sources, the deal that was signed lately is about the whole mudug with the understanding of khawaajaat that certain clan should have two states too just like the others!!.

banaadir as a plus!

But don't change my topic into mudug!.

Geedi leading a state bordering Ethiopia, the same country he invited to Somalia to pillage. Ninkan in laga ilaaliyo ayay ahayd all positions including federal states, he should be named ambassador or something. I am not surprised since many people in the Somali Gov including current ministers are on Ethio payroll.

That's the reason he will be

There are three international policies to wards somalia

IGAD policy of buffer zones

EU policy of quick solution regional admins to over come al shabaab with the locals support for having a sense of ownership in that case

The US policy of a lasting security solution: establishing an independent somali military institution throughout the country to pave the way for a strong govt.

So we are now in the IGAD era!.

Govt controls but since they are there "to assist" you they have secret agendas like stopping the military operations after they couldn't agree with the govt on post-liberation admin so they are wating until december when the last state(hiiraan and middle shabelle) was formed

Now, the govt has gone for some middle choices like making some influencial allies that have no problem with ethiopia such as sharif hassan cew for baydhaba, geedi and abdi fatah for hiiraan and middle shabelle but these guys are infiltrated by ethiopia. Ethiopia has some influence in hiiraan even farah abdulqadir hails from there(from feerfeer) so he also sees baladweyne to be the federal capital.

The entirety of the AU Protectorate of the Former Somali Democratic Republic is filled with Somalis who are Ethiopian agents, Ethiopian spies, Ethiopian secret cells and literally hundreds of thousands to a million out-and-out Ethiopians.

Unless Ghedi wants to commit political suicide among his Tol than he won't be becoming President. Xasan Sheikh has basically lost even the support of Cali Gaaf let alone Abgaal or Wacyesle and has no face to ever come back.

Hassan Sheikh has finally accepted federalism, even though he had to be dragged kicking & screaming, he deserves the support of the Somali people.
PS this is probably the last chance for the southerners to have a stable future.....they'd better take it.

I don't think any traditional politician can have a chance in this era of the political islam, geedi, ina abdirashid and co are looking for these days to be mayors or ambassadors

Away from emotions, hawadle had more chances to lead this state since there's an IGAD/UNSOM policy towards baladweyne(not stating that they can force jowhar just the importance of baladweyne and the IGAD/ethiopian policy towards her bc their agenda is to see a a separate entities from xamar)) but they thought they could strenght their position in the govt and banadir with making such deal with geedi in the first years.

IGAD policies are theor solutions and the west involves all this wil disappear but it will take time, first strong coherent security throughouyt the country as the US plans.

Lol you shouldn't mention the US and south somalia or other regions in the same line!

The US has new security policy for somalia, its about the regime exactly rather about somalia as hassan shekh may go any time

This has made ethiopia so worry but john kerry has told this stright this is a bilateral relationship and you got nothing to with it!

They are establishing the somali military institution similar to their relationship with the egyptian army and any thing that's againsst the US interests will crush them.

You may be right....however, your overestimating the abilities of the present regime to capitalize on US support.
Sahal....you must always remember.....it's not what the US can do for Somalia....but what they can do for themselves.
PS at the moment they're prone to shooting themselves in the foot.
