My aunt has the Emirati citizenship, her husband got the UAE passport in the early 70's. They have a big family, and wallahi the life they live is insane mashallah! They have a huge mansion like 10 minutes away from the Dubai Mall, and they have an elevator in the mansion! LOL ....and all of the kids have Mercedes, Range Rovers, and BMW cars. They have 3 filipino maids, personal Indian chef, all of the kids have high paying jobs, all of the men have their own beautiful villas, etc etc.
When I went to visit them, they literally spent 3,000 dirhams on me in one night....they were gonna buy me a Blackberry, but i had to stop them!! Lool

Do any of you know Somalis with Khaleeji passports??

Wait don't insult our intelligence, what exactly does all that nonsense have to do with the citizenship, it's not like they get a mansion for being a citizen LOL.

Being a citizen of a European nation like Sweden is probably a million times better, not just in terms of welfare, free education, good transport, relatively fair laws and justice system, but also in terms of travelling with a swedish passport, no visa required in most of the world. these are actual benefits of a citizenship.

it's just myth every one is extreme rich in khaliij who is citizen. I volunteered in beytel zakat, and majority recipients were mawatins. dadka kale waba laku diba.

yes, it opens doors for you and have less restriction to get education, jobs, start business, getting loans from both government and private banks(with no interest and long term, flexible loans),given house or land to build for free if you do not have your own property. monthly kids allowance for law and middle class. last time it was around $200 or more ,depends your income bracket, monthly each kid from law income and lower middle class. it's just welfare in the west for citizens who are not rich.

still cannot call great thing, since it's still need to ask human for hands out and do so much work papers to get it.

it's what you make of what you have and not always greener in other side. every where the is cons and pros. it depends the stage of life you are at that moment. in this stage in my life, living with freedom and better human rights (no where is perfect) is more important than our 12 bedroom and 11 bathroom with 2 elevators!! I just got over it and want to move to my next stage of life and more productive life that doesn't include material stuffs.

I may change in the future and my priority could change. who knows!

we all have 1 tummy to fill each day, one body to lie on bed and one life to live. you wont take with you material gain but your good deeds for humanity.

people's priorities is different and depends their stage in life. when you young, you want education, then you want good secure job, then it's all behind and you care more about society and other human...list goes on.

no one can perfectly fine with life without challenges and different things.
