HSM did a lot of refurbishment in Xamar, setup the military base aswell. Hate him or love him, i have heard conversations of people who are close to his associates, he is a civil leader with no personal corruption, he is a Qoslaaye but not generous with 40K a month and free gifts from national visits. It's his own money not state coffers. His edge is being a local and not diaspora. There is alot of support in Xamar that could Sharif on the backfoot.

That was a bit of a joke.
I prefer Sheikh Shariff simply because he was the only president who tried to eradicate Al Shabaab.

I really hope the next president works for the interests of the country. I don't even mind if he fills his pockets....as long as the country is seen to be moving forward.
