So in order to make them wadaani we just refrained from supporting Dalinyarta and fighting Kenyans because we know the moment we do this then they will have the support and every excuse to do despicable acts.

By the way there is nothing Patriotic about Somalis. USC was funded by Mengistu to destroy Somalia so did SNM and SSDF.SL and PL are influenced by Xabash to the extend they Ethiopians broker a seize fire each time a war breaks between them. Reer Gedo invited the Xabashi to fight Alitixad. All the warlords in Xamar were receiving weapons and support from Meles before the ICU. I am aware of all the examples of traitorous behaviour you have listed and I agree. However, there is a difference between knowing about these acts and condoning them. Shit... you can even condone it but just don't turn around and tell people ''oh btw Ethiopians do not REALLY support you''. The same can be said about all other Somali groups but that does not mean I support any just because they are from my clan. It is one thing for old/illiterate clan leaders to think they can outsmart and ''use'' a foreign country against their Somali brothers...but it's even worse for younger Somalis who are supposedly better educated...more worldly..and more aware to blindly follow such men. Like they are blind to the fact these countries have functioning governments with clear and formulated foreign policies. They could give a monkeys about Somali clans.
