western Sanaag

Post by Eaglehawk »

Valuable real estate, with little bit of road work this place can be unconquerable and secure place where in you can create a thriving civilisation.
It’s a shame that sanaag is not in jubaland, O Well Mount Kenya is still within our reach
Why is sanaag low priority for isaaq horta?

they haven`t even been able to develop a decent public toilet in hargeisa.
how on earth do you expect them to develop one of the largest and most remote regions of somalia?

That is Daallo mountain it is located in central Sanaag not western Sanaag since it's just north of Ceerigaabo. In terms of settlement there is two deegaans in that area Karin settled by the Jibriil Tuurwa clan(HY) and Rugay settled by the Musa Carre(HY). Despite being a strategic area lack of modern infrastructure has slowed down investments;there is a narrow tunnel to get to Rugay, Ceel Dibir, Maydh.

Siciid, is there an other place called Karin in Sanaag aswell? There is a place called Karin approximately 100 km east of Berbera aswell. Which is settled by Yeesif (HJ) thats the place where the Black Adems and the Yeesif slaughtered each other for 50 yrs. Or do you mean Karin Turwaa which is a few km north of Ceerigaabo?

CaynabaX yes there is. The Karin i am talking about is north of Ceerigaabo before you enter Daallo area. Bwt Karin Tuurwa is a different deegaan  it is located in approximately 55 km north east of Ceerigaabo and is near Bandar Harshau the place where it was said had offshore oil potential.

Dervish, You are aware Sanaag is majority Isaaq HY to be precise?, and that the Daalo Landmark is primarly in the land-boundaries of HY?, The humble warsangeli's reside to the east, and the dhulbahante south-east of sanaag, central, north, and north west and southwest is isaaq

we have more than enough suitable land in sanaag where I can settle.
at our most northerly point in sanaag we are only a few short miles from the coast.
I wanna be the one to break through to the sea :)

od i heard dhs don't know how to swim since they have never been coastal dwellers nor are they now. Your clan who are traditionally camel herders might be in danger of being swallowed by the strong waves of the red sea if they go inside the waters.
