Farmaajo should focus on the south instead of biting off another issue he doesn’t have the capacity to handle.
This has nothing to do with Farmaajo, the US wants reunification now so they can dig for oil
Waxaasi waa waxa lagu maaweeliyo caruurta Daaroodka. Us can explore our petroleum deposits offshore, inshore and howd if they want but now noone need our oil.
This convention is very different from others, either independence or midnimo will be announced today

If the south was peaceful and democratic it would be relatively simple to rejoin the union.....however, we have seen successive southern regimes use foreign forces against each other all the while ignoring Al Shabaab terrorists, corruption is at record levels, the president is selected by open vote buying etc.

The iidoors would be mad to join such a dysfunctional .
If the proponents of unity were serious they would build the south and everything would take care of itself.
The longer the south is a failed state the more likely sl will be recognised as an independent state.

Its crazy the west gave italian somalia thirty years to fix it self and they failed miserably.

They were given every chance now its finally Somaliland turn to call the shots.

A fully recognized Somaliland can finally stop ethiopia and kenya expansionist dreams.

It will bring more peace and stability a beacon of hope for somali speaking people in HOA, and Africa.

Somalia will move on without Somaliland
Somaliland won’t receive independence. Especially if they cling so tightly to SSC and Awdal. If independence does come, SSC will be with somalia. There goes Half the population of langaab somaliland kkkkk

You’ll be down to isaaqland with 2 mill population.

Talks failed, Farmaajo could not fix his own house between his family, did not build a thing in Gedo... He is finishing 4 years without any accomplishment, he wasted four ears from our life.

Useless talks. Talks should only occur once the SNA controls Ras Caseyr to Ras Kiamboni. Otherwise it is premature to do so.

But I hope that all the participants enjoyed their vacation

Its not in sl interest for talks to collapse.
The sl negotiating team should have entered the talks with clear objectives.

Firstly they should have insisted on sl aid being routed through Hargeisa.

Every embassy in mog must have a consulate in Hargeisa.

The sfg must recognise any bilateral agreements signed by sl.

You see there was numerous objectives that could have heen realised without giving up anything in return. These would have been described as confidence building
measures......but in reality sl would have been building up its capacity in anticipation of independence.

Somalis are cursed with the all or nothing way of doing things.
