Your point and observation are well taken. I enjoy everyone’s posts here. I don't get to interact with Somalis where I live so it is good to be able to do it here (If not for any other reason but for my fiance).

Also I'm trying to understand other cultures and different people than my own to inrich what I got.

I think understanding can only come from communicating with one another. Sometimes, even if we seem to speak the same language, misunderstanding can come about because of cultural differences. Therefore, it's ok to misunderstand each other. People are suspicious of what they couldn't understand; I think that is my case. I came from very conservative family even not religious ones (I do not mean to brag here) still expected from them to behave in a certain way. So, please forgive me if I shy away from engaging such topics.

That is OK mate. No one should discuss issues they find uncomfortable. And you are not the only: I never heard a single word regarding sex about my father ever. He would have been horrified. I despise him for it because i needed to know as there was no sex education in Somalia.
