An incident on the bus
A couple of weeks ago I saw a somali lady about my mothers age struggling onto the bus with her shopping bags, the driver barked at her because she took to long to get on the bus. She sat down next to a young black girl, the girl immediatley shifted to the far corner of her seat and rudely motioned to her friend that the lady smelled. They spent the rest of the journey giggling and whispering about her.
After witnessing this latest incident I came to the conclusion that our old people have zero dignity in the west.
I am so glad my parents are back in their homeland, able to live out their days in dignity not as refugees.
Life as a refugee is one long humiliation, from begging for benefits to begging for the authorities to provide you with housing.
The younger generation can adapt, it's the oldies I feel sorry for.
I hope one day all our somali elders can return home.

Re: An incident on the bus
Aliyah99, you should at least have consoled and cheered up the lady. You could have sat with her and had a conversation.

Did you even give her Salaams? That may have changed the situation for both sides.

Re: An incident on the bus
I would have understood if the Somali woman has gotten disrespect by someone worthy. But it was a little niggerish monkey, whose people smell far worse than anyone. I've had numerous family members fire madows from working on their house because they reeked.
They have a natural body odor that could kill a herd of sheep.

Re: An incident on the bus
Aaliyah,
What I understood from your story is that you are ashamed to be Somali, another words you are not proud of your Somali people that is why you kept quite in bus hoping not to be associate with the somali lady.
I personally once ended up fighting couple black niggerz in Minneapolis because they where trying to rob two flight13 brothers, but that is me and this is how I feel about my country men and women specially when they need support we should be there for each other that is the least thing you could do for your people.

Re: An incident on the bus
Old somali ladies should stop using too much unsi on them when going out. in da house wid their husbandss is ok but A body full of Uunsi in da bus ain't a comforting thing for fellow commuters especially if Uunsi smell is foreign to them.

Some Somalis rate second behind the #1 world leaders (Asians) in terms of extremley bad body odor so I wouldn't speak if I were you.
