Cost doesn't matter, you need Americans, Euros, Chinks or Russians to build something of that scale. Today it probably runs no less than 200 mil but if any group of Somalis came across that money in a single bid they'd pocket it as they always do.

And Bosaso port is doing fine compared to the commerce it gets. Unless Somalia gets a legit government no legit businesses will cross swords with our ports.

^ Mogadishu, Berbera, and Kismayo all have deep sea ports. All were built by Euros, Chinks, or Russians (USSR) like I stated.

Bosaso is the only port that was for the most part contributed to in later infrastructure and detail by locals, and somehow still manages to be the second-busiest and most used port in Somalia behind the capital.

Bosaso doesn't need investment right now because it has a short clientele, after all its in a warzone of a country, let things simmer down and you'll see Bosaso to be a major investment for a future regime.

Yeah Mogadisho has deep sea port but some of it's docking areas are unusable due to sunken tug-boats and other metal and cement sacks rubish on the floor of the sea.
