I used to root against the English futball team but lately I feel sorry for them since they are so bad that I find myself cheering for them. The U.S team tied Argentina the other day in a friendly game with a lucky and ESPN had that goal on its best of best list since the game. ESPN is doing whatever it is in its power to build interest in soccer/futbol in the U.S...

I see wat u mean but they did play good though, but they had so many bad endings. Atleast they didn't lose against Kibir England, a draw can be a killer sometimes.

I guess they didnt want to humiliate England team thats why they were not playing well.
Funny thing is I was listening to this commentator who mentioned that one of the Ghananian team players missed his fathers funeral to play football last weekend.

I dont get how this mofo would do it.

I also noticed that there was a uk born ghananian in the English match. also heard rumors that capello did not want him to particpate in the English national games but when he had that ghana was seeking to include him in the national team he changed his mind and made him play but he will spend most of his years in the benches

I was actually driving through the Wembley area 3 quarters of an hour after the game. I like the enthusiasm of the Ghanians and their dress sense.

  Yeah that Ghanian player in England team is a idiot for allowing to face is country whilst getting boos and nasty chants from his own people in the stadium, but again it was his only chance to play, he is useless and shit, so Capello used him to abuse him lol.

Ghanian football has bright future. Who would've thought 5 years ago that Ghana without Essien, S. Apiah and Sully Muntari would pose a danger to top footballing sides in the world. But nowadays, they can go toe-to-toe with the best in the world with a decent chance of beating them.

^But they did better than the much-hyped Ivory Coast. Everyone said Ivory Coast was the most talented African side and yet they flunked big time.
