They are the majority of Lower Juba and Middle Juba. They also have the manpower in those two regions specially the Mareexaan clan.James Dahl wrote:There are lots of clans in the Juba valley, why so much emphasis of Marexaan and Ogadeen?
I don't think there are any statistics of who lives in the Juba Valley, but there are whole areas that are majority non-Ogadeen, non-Mareexaan. The Bartire in Bu'alle, the Harti and others who live in and around Kismayo, various clans and people in Jilib and Jamaame, and until recently the Garre in the western hills.XimanJaale wrote:They are the majority of Lower Juba and Middle Juba. Somalis know eachother, they know who is majority in where, we all live together. In Lower and Middle Juba the majority are Mareexaan and Ogadeen.James Dahl wrote:

Maxaa tiri abti? Yaa minority clan? It is true waryaa Marehan and ogadeen are not majoirty in every area it is very even. Marehan are not that many population wise if I am true and you are underestimating the amount of Garre are many in the region.XimanJaale wrote:Somalis know eachother, they know who is majority in where, we all live together. You will see camels belonging to Mareexaan all the way from the tip of Lower Juba and the Ogadeens likewise.
But those minority clan should be respected, and I hope this new administration will be fair.
