A midsummer night's dream of a performance that deserves a book, a film and even a Jam Street tribute all of its own. The greatest individual performance in the history of sports after King Muhammad Ali's Thriller in Manila and Rumble in the Jungle.

You look at the first goal and you think it could be the best free kick ever and then you see the second and your jaws drop and can't find words to describe that.
As for the third goal? Please tell me if there is any current or past player who can do anything like that. What the world saw that night was a left foot engineered to defy the laws of physics and a mindset to master the most epic of bicycle kicks when it mattered the most. I miss the guy..we all miss witnessing his god-given, jaw dropping talent.
After this hat-trick Barca qualified the champions league and the Barca coach at that time called Rivaldo "the ever lasting saviour of Barcelona."
