Somalilands sworn enemies are dying with envy.

With Genel Energy aiming to spud the first Oil wells in 2017 and possible production by 2020, it is going to be an amazing few years ahead. Welcome to the promised land.

Once it reaches full potential, many Idoor will be millionaires if not billionaires.
We need to be supportive and stop the none sense 'behavoural' macaaradnimo.
Somalida mucaraadka ku badan and every elder, woman, kid, politician, taxi driver, wheelbarrow operator wants to say something rather than let things take their own cause. We are people who talk a lot and naturally know only 'opposition'.
This behavior needs to change and a lot of things would happen. You have to first enter phase 1 and use the other phases to improve, fix and make changes but our people without even putting the seeds in the ground they want the tree chopped.
I personally support tough handling. We should not listen to every damn voice.
All together the investment will top $800m in two phases.
We have to bring Berbera from the death bed before it becomes another Zeila or Aden, both were once the largest ports in the entire region. Look at them today. Just because you have access to see doesn't mean you are guaranteed survival...you have to innovate, remain competitive, always be flexible and embrace change.
