My case for Ogden region (in Ethiopia) to join Somaliland
My case for Ogaden region to join Somaliland (SL). SL has always had a good relationship with Ethiopia. The Somalis in the ogaden region are being ostracized and always in conflict with their fellow Ethiopians. It would also solve the problem in the east somaliland where the dhulbahante feel like they are not represented. Also ogaden is in constant conflict with it's fellow Ethiopians, if given the choice (stay in Ethiopia or join your fellow Somalis in SL) I think they would choose SL. The reason I chose SL is because it is a healthy democracy.
'Since unrecognized Somaliland is cut off from most external assistance, the social contract between government and citizens has become unusually strong. Democracy evolved out of a series of mass public consultations—clan conferences—which endowed it with an unusual degree of legitimacy. The system’s most striking feature is the upper house of clan elders, known as the “Guurti”, which ensures broadly representative government and underpins much of the country’s consensual political culture.' - The Economist
It would also be that the Dir and isaaq clans, would have to share power fairly. The political system in somaliland is better as every person can vote, so every one has a say! It would also shift power in the region from the south to the north. Rather than puntland wanting to join Somalia, because of it's affinity for it's fellow clan members (ogadeni) the darood they would want to join Somaliland, they would probably become the largest portion of the government system. Even though it would be quite hectic the first 10 years, I think most Somalis would not care who's clan leader is ruling the country as long as the people's level of living standard continues to rise. Once this happens the south will eventually join somaliland thus having the idea that most Somalis want a Somali Wayne.
This is only my opinion and not to be taken too seriously just putting it out there!

Somaliland is a piece of somalia and ethiopia was always fighting with somalia and trying to take it.
Do you think they will stop now because you are separated and alone without the rest?
Maybe you make it easier for ethiopia to take somaliland

We made the biggest sacrifice for the somali union we made the union.happen we took a country to the south to Mogadishu An entire country. And you refused to give as a fair cut. We brought our poems. Best song writers out bussiness elites. Our politicians our elders. And you took.everything president prime minister defence interior finance.minister commands of police. Etc capital city. You don't see us as Somalis. You don't see our cause. We are proud people we are the true Somalis you are a bad imatation of us. You destroyed the somali republic Somalia the capital you became jihadist brought.xabashis. yet you call us So malidiid.Hassansubhr wrote: Mon Feb 26, 2018 4:08 pm You can have different history like you helped british and didnt help the somali but youre still somali

You've been crying about what we've done to your family for over thirty years.
Nobody cares about Tukarq......it's a one donkey town.
Farmaajo is the recognised president of all Somalia......I know it sucks...but it's true.
