Somalis are descended from Massai, not Nubians!

---quite a discovery I made, purely visual as well, that Somalis are MUCH closer linked to Massai, in terms of physical appearance and even folk culture, than the Nubians, historic and modern race.

The Somali pictures were all Hawiye. Yes, Hawiye are from Mozambique, and only came North, to work for the likes of Keinadid, Ajuran and others, while the other Hawiye farmed with Bantus (Abgal). Post Somali pictures of Darood/Issaq, and you'll see they resemble Nubians more closely

Masai?
Masai are Nilotes, Somali are Cushites. Somali are closely related to Oromo, Sidamo, Afar and Rendille, distantly related to the Beja of eastern Sudan and all the different Cushitic groups in Ethiopia (Kaffa, Limu, Giba, Agew, etc) and very distantly related to Arabs, Berbers, Hebrews, Nubians, Egyptians, and Habeshas.

The Masai come from a completely different, equally ancient family tree. The Masai Eastern Nilotes, and are therefore relatives of the Turkana, Karamajong, Lotuko and Ongamo, all of whom speak languages that are close enough to be virtually dialects of each other. The Masai are distantly related to the Western Nilotes (The Dinka and Nuer and Luo peoples of eastern Ethiopia, northern Uganda and southern Sudan) and very distantly related to the Fur, Berti, Zaghawa and Kanuri of western Sudan, Chad, Niger and Nigeria.

To find a common ancestor of Nilotes and Cushites, you have to go so far back that the same ancestor is also the ancestor of Bantu languages.

I wouldn't be surprized if all the languages of Africa began in the region between Darfur and the Nuba Hills of Sudan, the Nile rivers, and the Red Sea, where today you can find tribes speaking every language family in Africa.

Masai hve oromo blood thats why they kinda look like somalis

Masai's are from sudan originally, even some tutus's look like somali, its a shame they intermarried to much with the Hutus cos now its hard to differentiate between the two.
